Flash update

I have a 2004 SVTF. It stumbles and bumbles like an SOB between 2200 and 2800 rpm. I've read about the YRF0 flash update supposedly curing this tendancy on pre-2003 models, but didn't know if it was something already programmed into the '04s when new? I haven't found any stickers on the car denoting an update. And don't want to wander into my stealer requestion/questioning the update and it be already installed.

The YRFO flash does not apply to the 04's but I belive there is a ZEDO flash for them. Some one will post in a min. and let me/you know if I'm right. I know the YRFO does not apply but I think there is a flash out for the 04's.

Right you are. I pulled the glove box out to access my ECM and saw 'ZED0' stamped on the side. Guess that means it's running as good as it can right now.

Yeah, the stumbling is a know problem with all of em. If you do some searched everyone seems to have a home made fix for it (none work 100%). The only 100% solution is to get a custom flash (sct, diablo) but you are looking at $250 and up for one of those. Good luck.
