Painted factory wheels?

I just bought a 2014 se hatch Saturday, I was thinking of painting my factory wheels while i'm saving cash for the new ones. Anyone done this? or have pictures so I can get an idea?

not specific to Mk3, but my brother and I just painted factory AP1s for a S2k for fitment to his prelude. they got compliments all around from people in parking lots and the techs at the garage.

we used rattle cans from walmart and rattle can clear coat. i think it was 4 coats of paint(night black met) and 2 coats of clear.

go take a look.

Lets get some more people with pics, i'm in the same boat. I want to get coilovers and a tune first so it will be awhile before i get new wheels. I've considered plasti-dipping mine.

You can rattle can them for significantly under $30 properly prepped. I'm sure someone in your area would paint them nicely for less than $130. I wouldn't plastidip them for so much money. It doesn't last as long as a proper paint job/oem finish.

just plastidip them yourself. Its super easy to do, its cheap and if you mess it up its super easy to redo.
