Scratch repair - gloss black panel

My ’12 Focus sedan has a scratch in the narrow gloss-black panel that runs vertically along the window on the outside of the front door.

Any suggestions on the best way to repair that? Touchup paint from the dealer, or is there a better method other than repainting the whole panel?

if its a glossy, body color painted surface, you will need to touch up, wet sand, cut, polish, and protect.
