there is a lack of a lip with those rims. so a purple lip would be difficult without going into the detail of wraping in past the spokes.

I have thought about doing mine in a solid purple, but if you are interested you can see my purple rims on my 2011 black ses in the MK2 thread, look for topic introduction. i would link you to it but i am at work and to lazy at the moment.

I think it would be best to have a full shot of your ride to get the full effect.
