The best option is to replace the tire and not have any worries but I know with my driving style which is agressive,I wouldn't trust the tire. In your case I'd would just check the tire regularly since there are reasons tire shops won't touch it since there are reasons lawsuits happen.

^^Waste of money if its not leaking air. Just use some soapy water where the nail punctured to see if air is leaking out. If its not, pull the nail out and forget about it. I can't even tell you how many nails i've pulled out at the shop that didn't leak air and never once had a comeback. Of course I always tell the customer about it anyway just so they know.
If it is leaking and not towards the sidewall, just take it to a shop to have it patched. |

Good new guys, I brought it in to a smaller shop, they checked it out and said that the nail didn't even puncture anything (it was a stubby nail). The guy just put a little plug in it and I was on my way in 10 minutes. Now I know for sure that the other place was trying to rip me off and sell me a new tire for $200 haha
