acceleration problem

I have a 2012 Focus SE. When I accelerate from a dead stop or under 5 mph, the car jerks or stutters, like it is missing or clogged up. Sometimes it's more pronounced than others. Logically if my car is the only one having this issue, then there is something wrong with my car! I am very frustrated.
It makes it very risky to make a quick left turn...it really struggles and makes weird noise.
I took my car 2 weeks ago for vibration problem and this problem...they machined the rotors(less than 20000 km!!!!) to fix vibration problem, couldn't find any problem with acceleration..

Hey there and Welcome to the forum I suggest trying a different thread like the General Technical Chat thread, or MK3 Focus thread. This is the Canada thread and, to be honest, it's pretty dead in here. I'm just trying to help you get the answer you need. Try posting in one of the other threads and I guarantee you'll get the help you need. Also, there are Ford Customer Service Reps on here and they can help you get any issues resolved with your dealership and warranty repairs. If you have some time, go through the various threads and you'll be surprised the info you find. I learned a ton about my Focus from reading through the stickied threads.

The DCT shuttering is very common problem and there are tons on information this site about it.

Take it to have Ford look at your DCT. The jerking is the clutches not releasing properly.

You are not alone. My 2012 with 24,000k shudders the same way at slow acceleration. It is like there is a newbie driver behind the wheel learning manual shifting. It also shifts extremely hard the odd time and jolts the entire car violently. To top it off my CV joints click and knock like a car with 200,000kms. Tis a sad story...
