Air Bag Cover

I'm looking to remove the air bag cover that is located on the passenger side of the dashboard. It is a rectangular cover that is flush with the top surface of the passenger side dashboard. Has anyone ever undertaken the removal of this cover? There appears to be something adrift, a screw, a fastener, something that rolls from side to side when the car is turning corners. I would like to remove the cover to facilitate an inspection internal to the compartment. Any suggestions appreciated, I will disable the passenger air bag prior to removal of cover.

I would go in through the glovebox.
Glovebox is three screws, lower cover is three push rivets, there is a duct (one screw), fan is three screws.

I had leaves in my blower fan, a small rock or seed bouncing around in the duct would be probable. Something in the airbag compartment area is less probable.

No elsolo, the sound is definitley coming from under the panel (airbag) on passenger side of dash. Is there anyone in the forums here that has removed this panel? It looks pretty simple and straight forward. Maybe I'll give it shot over the weekend after this Nor'easter has vacated.
