Newb and need help

Ok I know this is my first post and have been searching for the last couple days now. My wife has a 03 ZX3 with a little over 100 000 miles on it. she bought it used a few years ago and it has a CAI and exhaust.

Recently when she has less then 1/4 tank of gas, she is getting a rough idle but it goes away while driving. the first time this happened it threw code P0171. checked the PCV Valve and everything went away untill the next tank of gas

Where do I go from here. No Codes since

Please any recomendations?
