Fiesta ST- it's happening, but for the USA?
what do you think? the mules are testing, and from the looks of the spy photos, the test cars are actually wearing pre-production skin (not just a testbed engine in a normal fiesta chassis)

I'm expecting it to make it here, I'd an 80% chance. We've had the concept in the LA auto show, it's been approved for a lot of markets, they have test mules in Colorado (for high altitude testing), and even though Ford hasn't officially confirmed it, they haven't denied it either. It depends on how the Focus ST sells, if it does well, we should see the Fiesta ST. Keep in mind that we'll get the 5 door of course.

give i time, it might happen. There is a market for it, its just not too big just yet |

The 5dr B299 Fiesta ST will be sold in the US. That info has been released already.

There have been two independent unofficial statements from major players at Ford that the Fiesta ST is coming to the US. Then recently there were the spy pics of a 5 door Fiesta ST doing high altitude testing in Colorado. And one of our folks (NASTOC) spotted a 3 door Fiesta ST being tested at a private/secured location in the Detroit area. That's enough for me to believe that we're going to be getting the Fiesta ST next year sometime. 'bout time Ford!

I want it. so bad. dear LORD< I hope the production model keeps in the interior + exterior close to the prototype demo'd
wow. I will officially be getting it for my wife, but I'm gonna probably want to drive it a lot more than my gti. I ride a lot of motorcycles, so I am drawn to cars even smaller than the golf

Fiesta ST would be sick. At the risk of jinxing it, its really a no brainer for Ford to bring it to the US, considering how well the Focus ST has done so far. Americans are ready for an onslaught of hot hatches. We've been drooling over the Euro options for years, it's time.
