eagle eye question
so i have been running ddm 55watt hid kit in my eagle eyes for about 8 months with a few issues... now my driverside hid wont light up... i can it it trying to do something but the light only goes on some times... oif i flick it on and off a bunch of times it used to do the trick now it wont turn on at all... any idea?

i kinda think its the headlight:( almost every morning when its cold out my passenger hid wont heat up. i thought it was the ballast since i have ebay specials, but the other morning i had parked way too close to my splash and realized something new. when i switched on my hids it actually killed the halo, leds, and switchback. never noticed it before since i turn on the fogs instantly. i usually just turn on my highbeams for a few seconds and it fixes it. you atleast made me happy to know that i wasn't the only one! i guess i should be looking into getting a retrofit:)

another thing, not sure if u have tried it yet, but have you tried swapping ballasts to see if u lose the passenger side instead of the drivers side?

i ordered new ddm kit and i ordered a new ballast cuz ddm tuning shipping is terrible and now it wont go on at all... grabbing another bulb to try as well

could be a loose fuse somewhere. or a bad fuse going out. just happened on my buddy's evo.

Found the problem.... It was the bulb... Switched it out to a different bulb that i had and it works everytime now.... Only thing is that one bulb is 6000k one is 8000k but i would rather just have 2 headlights on at a time... Thought about putting another set of 3000k for some fun :) lol

just a quick question... is it an issue to run a 35watt bulb on a 55 watt ballast?

^^^ perfectly fine. Just remember that whatever your 35w color rating is, subtract 1000k and that'll be the actual color. I.E, 6000k 35w on a 55w ballast will be 5000k
