Dash mounted liftgate release
Does anybody know if the Titanium headlight switch that has the liftgate release would be plug and play on an SE? I've had several occasions where it would have been nice to be able to pop the liftgate without having to fumble for the buttons on the key when the car is running.
The switch is about 80 bucks, so I'd hate to order one just to find out it wouldn't work. |

You still have to physcally open the hatch, there is a open button on your hatch above your license plate.

Hit door unlock button... Touch hatch button above license plate... Hatch opens...

As long as all the locks are unlocked the hatch can be opened with the exterior button no problem

Yes, I am fully aware of how it works, but this is the scenario... Wife comes up to the car with bunch of crap in her hands and yells at you to open the hatch. She can get her pinky hooked on the hatch but has to sit all her crap down if she actually has to find the open button and push it. Hence, I just want to know if the Titanium button will work, not have 5000 smarta** reasons I don't need to do it. LOL

tech... The hatch button works just like the button does on your fob. It just pops the hatch slightly... I don't see how it really helps if your hands are that full.
