an svt grille, it looks so much cleaner. you can find the svt grille in partouts in the bst. im not sure if there still available from tousley or not. or a euro if you have turn signals in your headlights, (ebay, mach, etc). stealthzx3 did this mod, send him a pm if your dead set on doing the mesh

i just dropped almost all my money from my last paycheck on foglights and stuff, so i'm looking for mesh. not a huge fan of the svt grille, and i need turn signals, the mesh seems to be the cheapest way to do this, and from what i've seen, it can look sick

i used gutter guard from home depot , it came out " alright " . its really hard to get it to take the correct shape and have it look good while on the car , i ended up just buying a new grill off ebay

but if you wanna do it you might as well go for something a little better than gutter guard lol , some of the mesh they sell precisly for this is actually pretty nice , still youd have to do all the fitting and cutting to make it look perfect . imho its a pain in the ass but if you do it right then more power to you

I used some of this from Lowe's. Found it in the sheetmetal section. I had a top grill done, but went to the clear lights after. I still have the bottom done. I had to connect two pieces though.

I think the mesh I bought is something like 10"x24". There are two pieces in the package. It's sold as b-b-q grill repair. It's in a flat cardboard package. The best result would be to have the two pieces tack welded together. I just overlapped mine and wire tied it. If you use this, clean it really good first and use some kind of rust protective paint. I didn't and I'm repainting it about twice a year. Too lazy to just take it out and do it right.
