I test drove an st a few days ago and thought the buzzy noise was ridiculous. Was also disappointed in the power. I am coming from a 5.0 mustang, and overall the ST felt like a toy car pretending to be a performance car. To me the regular Focus handled nearly as well while being much less gimicky, more fuel efficient, and several thousand $ cheaper. So I bought an SE with manual and disc brakes. I've seen good reviews of the ST so I guess it's a matter of opinion, but for me it was a big let down.
