Airbag Light stays on after replacing core support

Hi I just recently replaced the core support to a 2008 ford focus se and disconneted the battery before i unpluged the sensor located on the core support. I then replaced the old core support with a new one then I connected the battery and repluged the sensor and now the airbag light stays on after i start the car, please help. How do i clear the code without taking it to the dealer?

Order is key when you connected battery set code for missing sensor as it was not plugged in , must be cleared with scan tool that can access srs system. Can't hurt to ask may be some one in you area has a scanner and can help you out or most shops or auto body can clear it for a fee usually, if there is a problem the code will not clear. Shout out to ford rep floating around here Todd or go to vendor post maybe ValleyAndy at Valley Ford can get you a inside track at the dealership Prices ValleyAndy gave me on parts were 10%or more below the supposed discounted price and My local dealer .

Forscan should be able to see and clear that code as it has access to the Restraint Control Module.
