2001 ford focus zx3 trunk wiring harness

Ok at the top of the hatch were the third brake light goes threw that rubber groumet my wires are chewed up threw there i want to fix this can you get a new kit and how much does it cost and what is it called a trunk or hatch wiring harness and were could i get a new set any help would be great thanks

Thats a common problem. There are 2 ways to remedy, one is take out all interior panels and wire in new lengths of wire, around 2 feet for each one to get rid of the broken'cracked insulation, and the other way is wrap each individual wire break in electrical tape, and re-tape the whole bundle of wires.
