Vibration Issue At Idle?????
I owned a 2002 ZTS for a couple of years. It was an automatic just as my 2008 SES has now. I sold my 2002 and just bought the 2008 SES that has 60,000 miles on it. The car is super clean and was well taken car of from the only owner before me. The only issue i have with the car is at idle in gear you can feel the motor running or like vibrating through the car. That is the only time you feel it is at idle. Now my 2002 never did that. Infact when my 2002 idled, i sometimes would think the engine stalled it idled so smoothly. So does anyone else have this issue with there 2008-2011 foucs?

Sounds like a bad motor mount. Check your lower one the dogbone.

My old Sunfire done the same thing. But when I pushed the Clutch in it would stop. So I just assumed that maybe the clutch plates were worn weird or something. But the motor mount sounds a lot more reasonable.

Yep you guys were right. I changed the front damper mount on top and man what a difference. I can't even feel the car running. It is littrally smooth as a babies ass. Lol expression. I was told by ford that these mounts go out at 20,000 most of the time. Crazy
