Oregon is experiencing an unusually long Summer this year but I'll keep an eye on mine when the rain returns.

I think I'm good, Crystal. they said they fixed a problem with a seal. I'll have to check for water after the next rain.

hate to make thsi thread wise fwom it's gwave but with superstorm Sandy blowing along the Eastern US making it rain(or worse) for days at a time in some areas(5 straight here in NE Ohio) I noticed a large puddle in the rear footwell on the driver's side. mopped it up with a towel and just hours later, it was back. Repeated the process and upon opening the rear hatch and looking down the spare tire well was FULL of water. Clearly it was spilling over into the rear footwell, seats were getting wet as well.
I hope everyone checks their spare tires and rear carpet post haste if you're affected at all by Sandy. Unfortunately I'm in a bind and the dealer can't get the car in until next Monday(!) Good luck. |

no moonroof here. definitely leaking in around or near the hatch.
Looks like the water leaks into the rear, fills the spare tire well and sloshes forward with the movement of the car going under the seats(getting them wet in the process) and soaking the carpet. Could still be the same c-pillar area for the leak source with or without a moonroof. |

Have you considered making an appointment at your dealership so they can take a look? Additionally, I'd be happy to get your case escalated to your regional customer service manager; just shoot me a PM with your details, including VIN, dealer, mileage, daytime phone number, and full name. I'll get your information in the hands of your CSM and ensure that things move forward. Have a great day! Crystal
