This mod works great

problem is, now my radio doesn't work and all my fuses (three from what I read in my manual) are good. It's a stock deck too, no mods here

Anyone have any suggestions what could be causing this? Is there a fuse behind the radio that I need to remove the radio to access additional fuses?
Funny thing is, on the drive to work today, the radio lit up like normal...just when I got off work did I realize it wasn't working :(

Thanks in advance

P.S. on the upside, I was able to find the fuse to unplug my DRLs :)

I would recheck the radio harness.

thanks for the suggestion.

Just got back from checking it. Everything looks tight and fits snuggly. Checked all the fuses again and nothing. Even pulled out the deck and checked back there...still nothing

Also noticed that the clock doesn't come on when I push any of the buttons when the car is off (usually it shows only the time right?). Does this mean there's no constant power going to the deck? All the wiring is tight and fits as it should. I jiggled each wire from the harness independently and each was securely fastened in the harness.

Anyway, this is really bugging me, esp. since this is a stock system and I never had any other problems with this car since I've purchased it in August

Oh the upside, I was able to replace one of the small bulbs that fit into my HVAC switches :)

any help is greatly appreciated

Do you own a DMM(Digital-multi-meter)?

Yup,

But the holes in the harness that plugs into the back of the stereo are too small to fit the DMM's probes into. At work today I was talking with a coworker who recommended sticking the ends of paperclips into the harness holes, then checking them with the DMM

Might do this sometime to see what kinda results I get

thanks for the replies guys!
