Looks to me like the CV joint just popped out. Check your ball joints to make sure they are all still in-tacked that is usually the root cause of pulling the wheel away from the car.

you arent driving anywhere until that axle is replaced. you can get empi axles off of ebay in the $70 range, theyll be more expensive at a parts store and they wont have one for an SVT anyway.

Inside that rubber c/v boot was a bunch a grease, that's what has sprayed all over. Again check your ball joints, usually they will fail and allow the wheel to pull away from the car, in return it'll pull the axle shaft (C/V joint) out. If that's the case you got lucky it didn't do this.

ya ive never seen this happen without there being a root cause... they normaly dont pop out unless a ball joint goes. ive seen motor mounts go bad and twist the motor and pull out too.

Maybe that is what happened then because I do have bad motor mount(s). I don't which one or how many are bad.
