Mid Atlantic Lame Brains

I know it probably to lat to register but if you want to come out to the final SCCA track weekend we will be on summit main Saturday and Sunday. Rumor has it there will be a 2013 ST making some laps during the day, some slow some fast but it will be there.

Also we will be celebrating the 02 SVT final weekend till the hart transplant. 10 Year of dedicated service and many many boosted track mile, so catch your final ride.

The helmet has a special meaning for many drivers. How important is it to you? - It protects my head.

Do you have any special rituals when the helmet is concerned like many have? - I wipe it so that I can see better.

Have fun be wary of the brakes getting hot. The car is fast but also heavy I found the brake pads to be a bit sketchy when they got hot after a few laps.

Haaa, Brakes in the instructor group there are no brakes. Haa! Thanks for the info, but coming from an E36 M3 that was nearly identical in stats as the ST I think it will be fine for 20 - 25 min of moderate abuse. Eventually, I'll get a set of R-Comps and pads all around.

I prefer to get on the brakes hard at the last minute vs dragging them. However, I believe it's suppose to rain, so the speeds will be way down. Not to mention I'm only going to drive 2 sessions if that. The car has no miles on it and will need an oil change by Sunday.

I'm curious as to how it will compare to my nephews 2010 Cobalt SS which is silly fun on the track with ZERO mods. The Brembo's on that work amazing even when I really push it hard. @Summit Point we were pulling nearly 1.2g's( his car has in-car telemetry) in some of the corners.

Anyway, will give you guys some feedback on Sunday night.
