Yeah it is just more refined, thats the best way i can put it. It feels much further upscale compared to my old car. Its got so many tech features too. It basically has everything that i added to my old car plus some, but with smoothness and a warranty. Not to mention its fast as hell. BTW i cant say enough about the tune, it makes a huge difference.

I would think a reflash would make a difference. Does the reflash turn off the overboost? Another words can you run max boost longer than 15-30 seconds?

Might=== You mean you will as Ford left some power on the table. How 'bout a intake too?

LOL a ST haters thread. I also have a 2005 ST. I love this car. I have 157,000 miles on it and the only thing I have done is put a alternator in it. It is a blast. Probably my favorite car out of the 30 or so that I have owned. I will likely keep my 2005 when my new ST comes in. But the 2013 ST is SOOOOOO much better. In every measurable way. The new ST is mature. It is reviewed as the best by so many sources for a reason. There are cars that do many things better... but as a package the ST is almost always the best in the opinion pieces. And for what you get the price is great. Spend time in the seat and opinions will change for the better.

This. I try to remember that not everyone has had a chance to see an ST in person, sit in one or test drive one, and that some people cement their opinions without knowing anything about the car. I've been privy to too many "it's a Focus, why does it cost so much" conversations. I respond with facts about the car and my own personal experiences, but one thing I must say is that EVERY person who has been in my 2013 ST or even driven it, have had their expectations obliterated. My brother in law has a nasty 2010 Mustang GT making about 450HP as his daily driver and even he was impressed by the ST. The primary point is that this car offers a fantastic driving experience, is fun to drive at any speed and retains practicality and even fuel economy.

I wouldn't say this is a ST haters thread at all. I like the new ST, I'd for sure do some mods.
