m3 mirrors wiring help needed!
so i found a brand new set of m3 mirrors on ebay, they have these fancy LEDs on the side and light up all nice and stuff and even have an arrow in the mirror that lights up
catch is it didn't come with instructions, and i saw it in the description and it didn't bother me really, because i know someone here knows how to do it might i add that i have manual mirrors right now, but i mean that really isn't a big deal, i can adjust them by hand, i just want the lights to work

how many wires are there? 2, 3, or 4? If I remember correctly (its been over a year since I put mine on), there should be one wire for your turn signal and one for your parking light and of course your ground wire(s). Just hook them up accordingly (you may have to play around with the parking and turn signal wires to figure out which is which). If you have the stock grill and headlights then run your wires to the grill and hook them up there.

I did a two wire set-up. I tapped my front turns with a thin wire and ran it through the fender.I just grounded it on the door.

do you still have them on the car?
just wondering how your wires look. or did you go all the way and tuck them under the door panel, through the rubber thing, etc?

I lied. I was thinking of a different set I had. On my current set, I ran the wire through the screw hole in side the door and through the fender.
![]() Then I grounded them at the fender. That's my red wire used for a ground, it's the only wire I had available. ![]() Then I ran a thin peice of telephone wire to the turn signal where the bulb plugs in. I don't have a pic of that. Just unplug the connection and put the end of a stripped wire in and plug it back together. |

Just tap into the power off the front turns. You have parking light in the middle wire ( orange ). Outside wires are turns ( blue ) and ground ( black ). Of course black being the ground. You won't have to touch that. Unless you want to run your wires all the way.
