Havent looked at it but you should just pull off the panel, undo your 3rd brake light wires unbolt the trunk and put the new one on right?

I changed mine and it works fine just un bolt unplug the wiring then install make sure u line it up rite tho otherwise the trunk will leak when u go threw car washes
