Where is the best Grounding spot in hatches?
I drive a 2003 zx3 and was wondering where the best grounding spot is in our hatches. Has anyone actually used a DMM and tested it?

I drilled a hole on the spare tire bracket. But, then again, I am only running 700 watts in the current form. Many use the rear seat belt mount.

Im getting tons of dimming I dont have a volt meter in the car and Im afraid to have it parked playing because I dont want to drop belowe 12volts and hurt my amps. But yes a ton of dimming is occuring, thinking I might upgrade big 3 to 4/0 OFC welding wire.

I had an 02 SVT and now have a 07 SE, I used the same grounding bolt in both cars and had very good success with it. I used an impact gun to remove the back seat back bolts and then a dremel tool to get rid of the paint. Sandwiched the ground between the metal floor and the seat back and put the bolt back in. I have a 0 gauge ground so the ring terminal is pretty big and was able to fit around the bolt. Neither cars had/have any noise issues from placing the ground in that location. Hope this helps.

Class D or, A/B amps?
What is your voltage(with the car running and the system off)at the battery? Now check it with the system on. Post the variance.
