speakers for 2012 S, can I use 6"x8"s?
So I went to instal some 6.5"s that I had in my 2012 S sedan, however when the factory speakers are removed there is a HUGE hole much too large for the 6.5" what size cant i run? 8"s? i didnt measure it, I should have. What do I need to bolt the 6.5s in?
Thanks

I had the same problem wat u can do is buy the adapter to secure the speakers or what i did wicth looks better even if its not the way most people have done is use the stock speakers and take of the entire center of the speakers and jst use the plastic and ur 6.5 will fit perfect like if it was stock, this works better and looks way better than any adapter because they dnt make one for the exact type of car u need it for they are universal so it wont look as good

You can make your own out of 1/2" or 3/4" MDF which is the best option IMO(just seal them with fiberglass resin).
Or, buy 1/4" ABS ones off of eBay for about $20.00
