Sunroof Won't Respond! Need Immediate Help

I am currently 1,600 miles away from home and storm clouds are approaching. I went to close my sunroof which worked perfectly about two hours ago and suddenly....nothing no hint of a block the sunroof won't respond to input from the switch. is there anyway to manually close it or has anyone encountered a similar problem there is a huge storm on the way and I have to drive back home tomorrow

Not sure if it's the same but another car I had with a power sunroof had a little plastic cap that you could remove and there was a tool in the spare tire jack that you could use to manually close it.

Sorry, my focus didn't have a sunroof.........good luck

Try disconnecting the negative terminal from the battery for a minute to force a reset of the electronics in the car, and try again.

Just be careful you don't give yourself a jolt.

Be careful with poped fuses. They're very protective of their fancy hats.

You did not say if you are getting power to the switch. Also, you looked at the owners manual for the procedure to reset the switch right?

Stop at Walmart and get a tarp and a roll of duct tape. That will save you just in case. Then try to fix it properly. If it rains then use the tarp idea.

What Ford dealer is open on a Sunday? None around here as far as I know, and I'm within driving distance of Dearborn.
