inner tie rod and steering rack???

he everybody, im new on focus fanatics. so bare with me please.

i drive an 02 svt focus ive had it since January of this year and i had it checked out after i bought it and i was told that id eventually need an inner tie rod and by doing that i should replace the rack as well becuase it will start to leak after the tie rod is replaced. what should i do?

I bought a rebuilt rack with new inner and outer tie rods for $125 off fleabay.
I did it because the rack was leaking, the tie rods weren't all that bad.
It took a couple hours to install.
