Speaker upgrade in 2011 (New model) - Size help

Just brought a focus zetec, the sound system is awful. The bass is terrible and the car rattles really badly if you have any bass at all, ive had to turn it right down so now it just sounds really tinny. Im not sure if the speakers have been blown by the previous owner.

The last focus i had (mk1) had a brilliant sound system and was only the factory fitted one, so im really dissapointed with this one.

I want to upgrade the speakers but i dont know what i need to get.

What sizes fit? Do i need brackets as they are a funny size? What are best? I want to keep the original head unit as it has the phone system installed etc and it looks smart.

How can i make it sound better?

Any advice greatly appreciated. Im not fitting myself as i have no idea, im having someone come out to do it but need to buy everything i need ready for them to install.

Thanks, I was just coming on to say i found it. Just ordered the speakers and the brackets.

Just need to see about an amp now.
