Missing tappet valves

About a month ago a tension pulley or my timing belt blew and my timing belt was thrown ruining some of my valves. They have been replaced now i need tappets to make them fit as they are busted too. I have found all but 2 any one have a line on 2m5z6500bb and 2m5z6500fb? I know they are "obsolete" but are needed to get my girl back on the road.
ps Thanks for any info leading to me fixing the issue, John Lambeth

Those part numbers, what sizes are they?

I replaced all of mine, still have the old ones in a box.

I couldn't get one myself, so I just used the next size, worked ok.

I'll check the box tonight.

I don't know what your numbers are, but if your gap is to big, you can grind the valve and seat to raise the valve up and close the gap so you can use the closest bucket size, but not if it's going to require to much grinding. Conversely, if the gap is to small, you can take a little off the stem to increase it.

My machine shop looked over my numbers and recommend against it as it would have left the valve faces and seats on the thin side.

Another option I considered was (if you know a machinist) to take the next size bucket and machine the stem inside the bucket to the size you need. As I needed to do all but 2 of them, I just got new ones.

Sorry for taking this long Joey, smallest I have is a 11.535, and nothing above a 11.715. I'm going to the LQK tomorrow and I'll check there for the heck of it.

You can have a 11.535 machined down to the 11.445 you need.

steve at toulsey ford may be able to get them.

other wise its go big and machine down the valve side (not the cam side) of the tappet.

or machine the valve stem down
