NO, but you can get a sticker, or put a note in the back of the owner's manual stating the date that you changed the motor. In this day and age of cell phone cameras, you can document the experience.
What are you doing with the old engine, and why are you changing it if you don't mind me asking?

If the donor car is equipped exactly the same, I suppose one could swap the computer and PATS ring, and lock cyl and keys. But then when the car is sold, the odometer doesn't match the chassis mileage, so if you don't check that box on the title, you are potentially committing odometer fraud.
As a buyer, I would be satisfied with a couple pics of the engine swap. |

yep - documentation of the swap would be the most helpful for selling the car in the future.
unknown or altered mileage without SOME documentation to back up the story is a deal breaker, while documented repairs can help make the sale.... |
