Focus with stone leather interior?

I'm pretty sure it is time to trade in my e46 for a focus. While browsing through craigslist recently I am sure I saw a focus for sale that had a stone leather interior, but wasn't an electric. Am I crazy? I couldn't find it again later nor can I configure a new one that way.

Did (does) Ford ever offer the non-electric focus with a stone leather interior?

I don't think so. I think they only offered that color in cloth.

Yes, as mentioned the 2012 SEL was offered with a Stone leather interior. It's a great color, brightens up the interior and doesn't get too hot in the sun. It does show a bit of dirt, but as it's leather, cleaning is easy.

On a different note, though, if you are considering a Focus with an automatic transmission, particularly a used one, spend some time and look at the dual clutch transmission (DCT) comments in this forum. This seems to be a terribly troublesome gearbox for Ford and is still generating lots of complaints despite three years of production. It's not unreasonable to assume quite of few of the newish Focuses that wind up on used car lots are there because of owner frustration with the DCT. Just saying'...

Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah I spent several hours last night reading up about that. Personally I'd love to have a manual but there are some logistical issues that may or may not make that possible. Still trying to decide. All the complaints (which I had heard about even before I was actively researching the car) have given me some pause. If I can sway the right people into accepting a manual in their lives then it might be a no brainer. If it *has* to be an automatic well... I'm having difficult finding another car in the same price range I like as much. Oh well.

Also, thanks to all who cleared up my confusion about the interior color. Luckily I have about three or four months to find the right car so if I do go for the focus, that gives me some time to search out my dream one (which would hopefully include a stone leather interior). That said, I doubt I can afford one straight off the lot in any event, but it still seems a shame to me that they stopped offering the stone leather interior. It seems like a really attractive option to me.

I have a 2012 SEL with the stone leather interior and it is very nice. Like it was said above, it does not get piping hot in the sun and it cleans easily. Keeps and inside nice and bright but not overwhelming.

Not to make this any more difficult for you, but iirc, the Stone interior was only available on the 2012 SEL and the SEL was not available with a manual transmission. Sadly, since then both the SEL and the Stone interior have disappeared. But the DCT is still here.

I have the stone leather on my 2012 SEL. AND the 2012 SEL in Canada had MT.
Not in mine though.
