Powerworks vs procharger

So after i finish my little projects i wanted to supercharger my car. now i would like yours guys opionion on both of these kits. i know there is a 600$ price difference but thats not a big issue. now i have read up on them but the pro charger has a intercooler which i love about it but i like the fact that powerworks runs thru the intake manifold. i wont have money for a new clutch for a few months but my stock is perfect and i know powerworks isent at 250hp but thats my goal so is the bbk good? and are they both pretty much complete besides fuel injectors?

plusses. there is less disassembly with the procharger kit. as you dont have to pull off your intake manifold. its the only supercharger kit available new. and wont be needing an uprated clutch to run on the car. the blower has its own oil supply no lines to be run from the block!!

downsides of the PC are the cost (almost 4k from CFM, but some used kits pop up occasionally) its takes rpm to make power. and the kit does not come with tuning or larger injectors. total costs to run the PC kit rival a turbo kit if you buy everything new.
finding belts will be a fun game of is it long enough? the supercharger is the lowest part of the system. there is a good chance it will be hit by things...... a lot. the blower has its own oil supply. means buying supercharger gear oil and doing that at regular intervals

the in the middle bit. nothing sounds like a centrifugal. your girlfriend will think its broken. it'll drive you insane if its loud enough. and its stealthy. paint teh charge pipes wrinkle black and it looks like a cai. since it takes rpm to make power yo ucan still get stock or slightly worse gas milage if you baby it. the air filter in on teh passenger side of the car. and has a 4" inlet. pricey stuff.

the only plusses to a powerworks are it develops low rpm power and torque. however you can ONLY find them used.

i'm still pieceing together my procharger. i jsut need tuning is all.

Powerworks.

2 Reasons

Air to Water intercooler part of the kit

Roots blowers sound way better than centrifugal blowers.

Many downsides to the PW
yes it is air to water and it sucks , you run it hard for long and you will see 250 deg air intake , it is lack luster at best and doesnt work well

No way to upgrade , if you want to make more boost you just end up making more heat and again if you run it hard for long make less power then with the lower boost

ProC is by far your best choice , you can do a proper front mount intercooler and up the boost and control the air intake temps , if you choose the PC then go directly to PC and start with the larger PC unit , the PC unit that comes with the Focus kit is undersized and limited , I have made over 350HP with the larger unit and still had a cool charge
