Exclamation New Styling for our MK 1.5's!?!?

So, I've recently gotten bit by the mod bug and I was looking into some MK2 Euro parts available for the Focus over there.

Rieger sells some amazing products for the MK2 and I was hoping we could get some support here on the forums to make a derivative of their Body Kit in Carbon Fiber for us.

I spoke with Victor at their customer service today and told me I would need to gather some significant support in order to make this a reality.

Would anyone be interested in a kit consisting of..

-Hood
-Front Bumper
-Skirts
-Rear Bumper

In this style?

Please forward this to all your friends with MK1.5's

Thanks!

-Tochi

Go OrangePeel go!!!!!

Just remeber like we told you in the other thread the mk2 euro panels will in no way bolt onto a US mk1.5. Diff sized cars with diff unibody/chassis structures. Any parts would have to be completely fabricated from scratch as the differences are way to great to even mod the actual Rieger parts to even attempt to fit.

And ED pretty much does not fabricate parts. They can copy a part though as they tried with a replica bumper of the mk1 RS. The part looked good but had severe fitment issues. It was a good attempt on their part. Unfortunately all those who purchased the bumper also found that the duraflex was not very flexible or durable LOL.

All that being said it would look cool and would be able to work on a mk1 as well.

Good luck with this.

Thanks Blue5ive!

I do remember, and these parts would have to be made in carbon fiber to be of any real value to me. When I spoke to the rep they said fabrication would be possible. Though I did read up on their manufacturing process of copying stock parts as in their thread.

I am trying to piece together the Lip from Rieger with a similar bumper to the MK2, I'll be working on this today. Once I get some good shots, I'll try and phosotshop them together to show the end result.

Hopefully we can get this thread spread about for some interest?!
As you said All MK1's and MK1.5's will be a fit. And this should be a sexy part.
