It's like we are the beta testers, it's almost unbelieveable.

I wonder if they test in real world cars or if they have a bunch of MFT systems set up in a building somewhere to simulate real world testing? Seems like the later or the testers are legally blind!

They supposedly beta tested the last (v3) update. I'm going with legally blind (or, even worse, that update was Ford's idea of a polished final product).

Wow! OK, so legally blind it is. If Ford believes this is a "polished" release I think they might need new IVT managers.

The only thing(s) that I could think of is that it

A) Works with some (probably the newer) models but they didn't do any testing to see if the system was backwards compatible. (Which could be due to hardware or software issues?)

or

B) The 3.2.2 install they tried was a clean install/image and we're missing something in the service pack.

There's always option C) Legally blind. But I'm just hoping that's not the case here.

Yes, had to route destination to my home and then cancel it, this enables street name under compass.

Haha. Garmin has a app for the iPhone. It works awesome and that is what I use. I looked at the Apple maps and they are not too good. My next phone is a Windows 8 phone! What are the chances it will work well with MFT????

Yeah it looks like taking it to the dealer might be your only option. You would think Ford would get sick of the bills from all these software issues!
