+1

I just hope they get this straightened out "soon" .. wasn't it this thread (or maybe another) that someone stated that a Ford Tech mentioned a major overhaul/release around the end of the year?

Isn't that also what Ford also said last year? We all know how well that worked out!

That's what I was thinking... although, 3.0.2 was significantly better than 2.10.

For us non-smartphone users. Is services great, no. Useful? Yes

haha, true. But they did get rid of the original company that developed MFT ... so that may be a positive sign? idk...

Actually they didn't....

They are just being paid by Microsoft who is being paid by Ford now. Ford is not directly they're customer anymore, that's all that changed. Which explains everything, including the striking similarity of the bugs in the supposed "re-write" of MFT that was 3.02.

Also, you're breaking your HVAC to display an outside temperature and FM channel buttons. These are two things that I couldn't care less about. They should be fixing bluetooth connectivity and metadata issues instead of stupid effing icons. I really should have bought an elantra.
Yeah my wife bought the 2013 Elantra GT because she said my car had too many bugs and she wanted her car to not cause her to be pissed all the time like me! haha

Here is what her car looks like. Not her car but identical including the color.

I can tell you that even though she got the tech package it is far from awesome. The good news is it always works. The reverse camera is pretty cool as it is behind the rear badge. The badge opens and the camera comes out, when she puts it in drive the camera goes back inside and the badge closes. Makes it so that the camera stays clean even in bad weather.

However, I would not have been happy with her car.

Dec 2011 build - v2.11 at factory, USB update to v3.02 in March, USB update to v3.2.2 today. I had FM Radio and Climate/Auto/AC on during installation. Did not do Master Reset before starting installation.

All climate controls on MFT are working.

Fixes/Good Things:
- Voice nametags fixed (previously, old Nav voice tags - e.g. 'Work' - would not enable after a Master Reset; system thought old tags existed even after all Favorites were wiped by the reset)
- Ability to use spaces in Nav Favorite names fixed (v3.02 broke this)
- Preset labels disappearing seems to be fixed
- Nav POIs when using voice to pull them up appears to be much faster
- Overall touch responsiveness seems a little bit faster
- BT paired but wasn't automatically highlighted in the Audio Source list (v3.02 bug)
- FF/Next Track functionality working again on iPod (stopped working about 2 months after v3.02 installed)

Prior Issues Not Fixed:
- Nav SD Card fault when playing my iPod (1st gen iPod Touch)
- Keyboard overlaps/hides list of choices when using voice commands in Nav POI search

New Issues:
- Nothing has reared its ugly head yet, but history would indicate I need to give it a few days...

^ Yeah, forget about that. It's just like before. I tried a few while running errands tonight. Long story short, it still takes so long to load - or, to be accurate, never loads - while prompting you to select a choice that's not visible on the screen. Eventually Miss Sync gets cranky and times out. So yeah, how about fixing that already Ford?

Also, as mentioned by others, the "no current street name in your Nav quadrant on the Home screen until you start/cancel a route" bug is still alive and kicking.
Adding/updating my list...

- Shuffle still does not work correctly on iPod/USB (it will Shuffle, but LED on Shuffle button does not light up)

- The "BT paired but wasn't automatically highlighted in the Audio Source list (v3.02 bug)" issue may still exist; I believe I ran into the highlight issue (have to switch to another source, then back to BT to get it to activate) this morning

I was able to confirm the update via USB drive and the SyncMyRide website, by the way.
