Well perhaps the number of files or steps do not make a difference. It was worth looking at.

took about 35 minutes on my end.... I thought it had died or froze many times, but it's how it updates itself, it goes blank, reboots, blank, progress bar that stays stills,... hey... when you see " Loading - powered by Microsoft" it's nothing but re-assuring.

All went well - didn't have time to play much with it after the update as the update took place as I was driving back from work and magically completed it itself as I drove in my driveway!

I did notice that all Sirius presets had been reset...

I have no idea the differences that would cause the climate issue.

With people all over the place; it makes no sense.

Kinda bums me out, but oh well I guess.

Not like Ford can fix it; not worth sitting at the dealership for it.

Hmm.

I can't remember; but didn't we have a recall on some MFT part? I thought awhile back I took my car in because it needed a new part plus reflash to the new release with a new memory card.

That could be an issue.

Dec 2011 build - v2.11 at factory, USB update to v3.02 in March, USB update to v3.2.2 today. I had FM Radio and Climate/Auto/AC on during installation. Did not do Master Reset before starting installation.

All climate controls on MFT are working.

Fixes/Good Things:
- Voice nametags fixed (previously, old Nav voice tags - e.g. 'Work' - would not enable after a Master Reset; system thought old tags existed even after all Favorites were wiped by the reset)
- Ability to use spaces in Nav Favorite names fixed (v3.02 broke this)
- Preset labels disappearing seems to be fixed
- Nav POIs when using voice to pull them up appears to be much faster
- Overall touch responsiveness seems a little bit faster
- BT paired but wasn't automatically highlighted in the Audio Source list (v3.02 bug)
- FF/Next Track functionality working again on iPod (stopped working about 2 months after v3.02 installed)

Prior Issues Not Fixed:
- Nav SD Card fault when playing my iPod (1st gen iPod Touch)
- Keyboard overlaps/hides list of choices when using voice commands in Nav POI search

New Issues:
- Nothing has reared its ugly head yet, but history would indicate I need to give it a few days...
Update after a few more hours...

"Nav POIs when using voice to pull them up appears to be much faster"

^ Yeah, forget about that. It's just like before. I tried a few while running errands tonight. Long story short, it still takes so long to load - or, to be accurate, never loads - while prompting you to select a choice that's not visible on the screen. Eventually Miss Sync gets cranky and times out. So yeah, how about fixing that already Ford?

Also, as mentioned by others, the "no current street name in your Nav quadrant on the Home screen until you start/cancel a route" bug is still alive and kicking.

There are/were no MFT hardware recalls.

OK, if I have NAV, and I do, should I remove the NAV SD card or should I leave it in?

Are there issues with NAV systems that others are not having?

I have an idea...

There are 3 possibilities for the upgrade path:

1) factory installed 2.1x -> 3.2.2
2) factory installed 2.1x -> 3.0.2 -> 3.2.2
3) factory installed 3.0.2 -> 3.2.2

For those who are having no problems with MFT climate control, what was your upgrade path?

Is there anyone with upgrade path #2 that is not having the issues with MFT climate control?
