engine yellow icon on... what are the possible reasons for it?

Hello there! My focus has the engine yellow icon on. The engine feels a little out of rhythm, but it works just fine. It does not lose oil or water, it never ever overheated. I tried readings the codes off o the computer by pressing the odometer stick and blablabla... But I don't know the meaning of the codes... could any one tell where to find them? thank you so much!
