First upgrades
Hey all,
I read through the basic bolt-ons suggestions at the tops of the forum, but I couldn't find some of the items listed on the websites. I have an '07 ZX4 SES which has only ever had brakes and oil changes. Car's paid off and I'm looking to add some mods to get that extra kick instead of purchasing a new car. First thing I was looking at was replacing the intake with the K&N short ram and then grabbing the FSWERKS racing exhaust. Would these both be worth it as far as performance goes, and if so which order would be best to purchase them? |

Hmm, I could only find the Steeda CAI. Do they still make a short ram intake? I'm also assuming the lunchbox is the exhaust? (sorry, fairly new to mods lingo)
Also, who's tom? :) |

Tom is the resident tuner guru; he can get you set up with a flasher and a tune, which should increase power as well as gas mileage. It isn't cheap--$500 or so including the flasher--but he gives free updates (unless you go FI), and it's just about the best early mod to get.

The steeda is a ram air intake but called cold air intake cause it has a heat sheild around it. The lunch box is last peice of exhaust system on factory system. Sry about lingo ive picked over the past few mounths lol. Posted via FF Mobile |
