so as of now i cant do rallys cause the car is my daily driver but when i get my next car this will be a rally car. so id figure id have some fun and do some minor prep for rally..... i plan on all motor to enter a beginner devision but i was thinking roll cage mud flaps wrx wing rims... and does anyone els have ideas about suspension and skid plate and other goodies or ideas
Minor upgrades will make the car more fun for now. But I you want a fully preped rally car you'll save a ton of money by getting an already built car and then setting it up how you want it. Just my 2 pence.
Absolutely the best way to go is to buy a prepped car. It could easily cost you 10 thousand or more dollars to build a pretty plain jane entry leval car (not including the cost or value of the base car). You can often buy a fully prepped (and properly sorted) car for far less. I built my first rally car. It cost far more than I ever imagined. That said, I'd never do it again.
