It's black, but not Tuxedo black like the rest of the car. It's rather noticeable in real life that they're different paint.

I don't know if this was mentioned or not but the volume up/down and track forward/backward has been separated. They moved it up on to the steering wheel pad on the right side from the rocker. The rocker is now pick up (left)/end call (right) and star 1 (up) and star 2 (down). I have no idea what the stars mean.

That was on '12s as well, the placement of those controls depended on other options.

The SEL has a spoiler also (hatch vs hatch here, not getting into the difference between sedan and hatch on that point as that's again a personal preference).

The sport wheels aren't really nicer imo, and in fact since they made them the base wheels on the 2013 SE. But again that's a personal preference, and you weren't giving up alloy wheels either way.

The silver plastic interior trim isn't that good looking to me, and the bronze trim better matches the medium light stone interior accents such as the seat fabric, and the a/c pillar covers.

Just because you find no value in being able to precisely dial in a set temperature doesn't mean there is no value there. Both in terms of increasing the appearance of quality and sophistication vs three chunky manual dials. My last car had the three round dials and although they may be functional when the a/c and or heater work, they felt cheap, but that was ok in the old car because it was an old beater that got me through college.

So you'd spend the extra money on the less well equipped car? I guess that's why they dropped the ability to get the dual zone climate control without the MFT system.

Personally I'm glad I got my car before they ruined the options matrix for 2013. Other wise I'd have had to spend a few thousand dollars more at least, and likely gone with an ST instead.

The SEL sedan had no spoiler.

The SEL was a better value for most people as it did have more stuff, if the styling of the wheels and gold were appealing.

No, I don't care about exact temperatures. I have that in my Toyota and Honda and my Toyota is freezing on 71 and my Honda is perfect on 71 - so there is no exact. I am with the Ford dial - turning it to the right to become warmer and to the left to become colder.

Twisted. They kept the 2012 sport wheels in 2013 discontinued the SEL wheels. That means they liked the 2012 sport wheels better.
