Torque Vectoring System
So the 2012 uses a brake based Torque Vectoring to increase handling. My question is... Is this part of the "Traction Control"?
I'm wondering if I lose the brake vectoring with TC off. Sent from my Motorola Atrix via FF Mobile

The way I understood...torque vectoring can not be disabled...it is only "activated" during emergency maneuvers and cornering...torque vectoring is not in theory a full on stability control that cuts out fuel unless you have Traction Control on...than ALL systems are a go...TC turned off....think of it as an LSD..video to prove what I mean, because of TorqVectoring....our focus's are not open diffs per say...in a straight line..T.V acts like an electronic limited slip

Great! That what I thought it was just wanted to verify.

It works great on in Auto-x just tap the brake a little bit before entering a tight corner and you'll feel the front interior wheel brake which will help you a lot! I love racing my car, but I'd love to disable the advancetrac so I can let the rear slide more.

Yeah I actually found this car to be surprisingly good in Auto-x for what it is, 4 door, stock tires. I was smoking GTi 2doors by a couple seconds consistently on the OEM continental tires which are essentially ice skating compared to a summer tire.
But by no means is it an ideal car to Auto-X, but it's still fun for sure! I can definitely tell them vectoring helps compared to similar cars without a form of vectoring/torsen Sent from my Motorola Atrix via FF Mobile

well maybe it's not ideal but i'll finish top 5 in stock this season, We're really close to each other and I'm fighting against STI, S2000, MS3, RX8 and a MS miata.

Hatches we'll do better in AutoX than sedans....the hatch just has the perfect balance, yes I driven both...yes I do have racing experience ;)
I cannot wait to take mine out to AutoX...are you still rocking stock 16" tires

Great, they beef it up quite a bit. It's a noticeable corner information improvement over stock - shaves a few seconds off of my times.
