Yeah... I guess the bottom line is gonna be how much you can sell the Honda for. If you can get near what you paid, it may be worth it. Because for you, time spent in the shop is time spent out of a job. Depending on what needs to be done with the transmission, that may be a couple days in the shop alone. Just something to think about.

ya Lyonstar, wtf with that comment about blaming parents.

@Joe, well I'd probably try to switch that thing for some ZX3 focus manual, less of a headache from maintenance side, and you have all those peeps here who can help you.

dude go eat your cereal or something but just get off the OP, he doesn't need to explain his situation to you, surely he knows what was the best thing to do.

Yeah, I threw it on CL for 5000 assuming people would lowball but I'm gonna drop the price in a few days because I haven't gotten any replies yet. I'd probably take 3800 for it, just to pay my stepdad back for the tie rod costs and then take the 3k and I guess put that down on something else and deal with a monthly payment. I tried avoiding that as a whole in the first place and failed.

Pretty much exactly what I want to do, I just can't find one locally in my price range that isn't 175k+ miles.
