Not sure, but I don't think so.

It might have been possible on a 2012 SE, since the Sport Appearance package came with it, and it wasn't (I don't think) a numbered (201A, 202A) option package. I could be wrong, though. It wasn't possible on the S b/c the BCM didn't have the required circuitry and it wouldn't be required on a titanium b/c they have fogs standard, I think.

Also - OPsdad's dealer TRIED to program it and gave up, but I don't think they were willing to use a different VIN code.

This has to be possible. I can't believe they would leave provisions for fog lights and not let you add them as an option. There is a huge market for aftermarket fog light kits. I would think that the first impulse of tons of other 2013 200a owners would be to add them using OEM parts since the provisions are there for the lights.

Nothing HAS to be possible. I can almost guarantee they would prefer to make it as difficult as possible so that you spend the extra $2500 on the 201A or the Titanium.

Not sure what you mean "the provisions are there for the lights." The provisions are there for the Sony MFT as well, but that doesn't mean it's an easy install.

I did try. The dealer refused to enter the program without the VIN. Wouldn't even discuss it. From someone else who WAS able to convince their do it (with a 2013, IIRC) you have to go in without the VIN. Then it can be done. If, at any point in the future, you have anything done in there (like a firmware update / TSB, etc) it has to be done again, because doing anything via the VIN will set it back to what the factory's records say.

The hardware is there in the BCM. The fuse is even there, although not used. ALL it takes is for someone to program the BCM.

Good luck. I really really mean that. I got my solution, eventually, I hope you get one, too!

In case you didn't follow the entire thread, OPsDad's solution was a trade-back to a Titanium, though - NTTIAWWT.

There are 2 black holes on each side of the car where the fog lights exist on the 201A and the Titanium. Those would be considered "provisions" on a 200a since they are plugged with 2 pieces of plastic. Also, I thought it was possible when you said,

"If you want to wire them up:

The wire harness from the bumper to the fogs should be CV6Z15K867B and lists for $14.32

The headlight switch with fogs and trunk release for a 2013 is CM5Z11654A and lists for $49.31.

NOTE: The wiring from the BCM to the bumper and the headlight switch to the BCM should already be in the car and there is only one BCM for all trim level 2013 SE's PN BV6Z14A068LC $222.23 list - so I think the parts above would be all you need."

We are getting into semantics a bit.

The plastic plugs indicate Ford used the same bumper for all models, not necessarily provisions.

Some of the other info is a bit outdated.

The 2012 "S" had fog light wiring from the BCM to the bumper - even though the BCM did not support fog lights.

The 2013 SE did NOT have wiring from the BCM to the bumper, even though the BCM (I think) does support fog lights.

Could always connect stand alone foglights and and route them through the stock holes.
