Condenser for my 05 ZX4

I've got my 05 ZX4 on the road, but minus a condenser for the a/c. The 05 used two different condenser for that year, depending on the mfg. date. Unfortunenatly for me, neither will work on my car.
After my son ran into a deer with it, I took it upon my self to do the repairs. Since condenser and radiator were history, so I pitched them (recycled), thinking it would be pretty cut and dry as far as replacing them both.
Well, I've had both and neither will work.
Does anyone out there know of a website, or person that knows anything about Ford condensers? I need to know if there is something else out there that Ford used, that may work?
The car was wrecked pryor to our ownership, front end collision of course, and being the look of their shop, they may have put in something that fit or what ever they had lying around.
I've been looking for this condenser for almost 6 months now and would like to know what the heck I can use on it.

The wide open, impossible to answer question...................just saying it doesn't work certainly does not improve things. There are millions of reasons why things 'don't work' and you are asking for the guy who knows them all. Luck with that...........

I suggest you pick the OEM condenser closest to what you need and try to find out how to refit it to work. The other one may not even have been a Ford part. That means you are definitely in no-mans' land.

What if you have a very late or early year car? Then you might need '04 or '06 part. Could be some sort of dealer installed air as well.

05 condenser

AMC49...
thanks for prompt reply. I've been looking at the previous and years after my 05, even been looking at other models of Ford vehicles. My latest attempt is that I am contacting my sister-in-laws ex-husband, he is a Ford engineer. I am hoping he can put me in contact with someone in the cooling dept. to see if they can help me out.
Back to the "not work" part. The connection of the lines is where I am having problems. I need the connection to go, from the top of the block that the lines connect to, be like this...mounting stud, a/c line, a/c line, mounting stud.
The only other thing I can think of is, that maybe whom ever put this back together before me, maybe put the wrong a/c line on, although both are still FoMoCo lines.

Quick glance at my '04 & it looks like A/C line, stud, stud, A/C line.

Separate lines, don't know if there would be any interference with the orientation you mention.

Don't know what orientations you've seen so far that are "supposed" to fit the '05.

P.S. - thinkin' on this, I didn't look close enough to tell if those lines are part of the connecting block, just assumed they were separate & held in place by the block.

05 condenser

Going to get pictures tomorrow, of what I have. Been looking at older Foci, and been seeing some promising pics, however non have shown the actual connecting point on the block.

Just bought this condenser for my 07 if it helps. The red arrow points to the top of the condenser.

This is the condenser current install on my 07. Again, red arrow points to the top.

The pictures you have here, are what Ford says is to fit my 05 Focus. I will have to look closer at the lines, to make sure the correct ones are in it.
Thanks for the great pictures.
