Anyone have a Steeda Intake sound clip??

I've been scouring these forums as well as YouTube, and I haven't really came up with a whole lot, unfortunately. What I'm really hoping to find is a sound clip with a Steeda intake and a stock exhaust. However, with that said, I'll gladly take any clips my fellow Fanatics post up. I'm mainly just looking to add a little more growl without having to go too mod crazy, and I'm really liking what I've been seeing on the Steeda.

On a side note, I think it would be great to have a specific thread where people could post up sound clips and videos of their mods. That way it would provide a "one stop shop" of sorts for this forum, and it would allow others to simply browse through everything at their own convenience. What do you all think? Mods??

Thanks in advance everyone!!

Well, actually, the short ram is what I'm looking for. I didn't realize that Steeda was also making a CAI.

They are basically the same product, the CAI has a heat shield and the SRI doesnt, it isnt a "true" CAI

Ahhhh, gotcha! Thanks for the links too! I had it in my head that the Steeda CAI was a short ram because my idea of a CAI is where the filter is located down in the fender well. Either way, I think it'd be reallly nice to be able to hear both for a good comparison, so, if you don't mind, please post up a sound clip bro. :-)

Sure i will try and get one tomorrow, but yes the way you described CAI is the way I think of it is as well, and I think is the more common definition.

Haha, yea it essentially sounds like every other intake for the mk3, which means it sounds pretty good!

Only noticeable difference is that Steeda's MAF housing creates a sucking sound (have to have the radio off and the A/C not blaring to hear it). Sounds reminiscent of the beginning of a turbo spooling, which is not surprising given the housings design and material.

It is pretty sweet. But there is some resonance at certain low speeds under load.
