Strange, Brake Lights Normal when in Park

The darn things stay on when you are out of Park. The third light works as normal, I am talking about the two side brake lights....

Already fixed the usual suspects, replaced brake light switch, repaired harness on hatch lid...

Anyone seen this before?

TIA

I don't understand your problem or question, try to more clearly phrase what is going on.

Sorry.
Brake lights work in Park (Auto Trans), they are all off unless you step on the brake.... then they all turn on..... just like they are supposed to. When shifted out of park the two main brake lights stay on.

Stated differently:

My side brake lights stay on all the time. Except for when I put the car in "park".

The wiring gremlins on this car is driving me nutty.
Fixed the rear hatch wires properly.
Still:
-No hatch release button operation
-Rear wiper inop (washer works)
-Brake lights (as stated above)
-Interior lights don't come on when door is opened
-Cruise control no worky

All fuses are good.
Replaced suspect relay for rear wipers (ordered new wiper switch)
Replaced brake light switch
Searched the daylights out of the forum

Guess it is time to break down and buy a manual with good wiring schematics....
