Older Taurus Alloy wheels for 2012 Focus

Looking at some winter 16" alloy wheels for the Focus. Found a bunch of listings on kijiji for older Ford Taurus' with the 5x108 bolt pattern. Would these fit the new generation Focus? I think I read somewhere there's more offset the on the new rims [50] versus [40ish] for similar volvo rims.

Should I be worried about offset or would any alloy wheels with 5x108 bolt pattern be fine?

I plan on getting some this week. My father-in-law had a 97 Tuarus that I put 2000 taurus wheels on a couple years ago. I'm gunna go grab the wheels beftore it gets junked soon. They are the same wheels at the link above.

I actually have a set of aftermarket wheels from my old 91 Thunderbird. Same bolt pattern. Problem is they have a bad offset and stick out past the fender about 1/2" so they look kinda funny. I'll probably just put those on the Taurus.

The Taurus wheels should be fine. If I recall correctly, any Volvo wheels needed new lugnuts to fit properly on the Focus.
I picked up a set of factory alloys from a Focus SE last year, the dealers had a winter special going on, I got brand new alloys for $125 each. Might be worth watching for if they do it again this year.

@SydneyRoo - Did the factory alloys have the tire monitoring sensors per chance? I'll talk to my dealer about when I'm in for an oil change. Especially if they include the monitors.

No, I had to buy those separately. I picked up a set of 4 off ebay for a decent price. They're expensive from the dealer.
If they are going to have a winter rim/tire special this year, I think it probably starts around October. Though I'd say that used Taurus rims are definitely a cheaper way to go.
