No symbol.

Besides its funnier this way. Even though Average makes more sense, but the average symbol is X bar
I think the other poster was right, it is average. In the VWs, it uses similar icons... the symbol seen above is used on the average fuel economy, and is removed for instantaneous fuel economy. So yes, it is average. You can also see the line through the circle extends beyond its edges, confirming this.

And yes, the arrow ">" is telling you that if you press the right arrow, it will lead you to the eco botanical garden... nothing to do with the fuel tank, as that arrow is right within the fuel gauge, as someone else mentioned too.

No it isn't, it's an empty set symbol. If they are using it for average then they have no clue what it means.

Force flow is correct, it's an empty set symbol. The line extends outside the circle, unlike the symbol suss6062 shows.

Average is "X Bar" that's the empty set symbol. So I'd love to hear what their explanation for that is

"In German-speaking countries, is also used as a symbol for average value: average in German is Durchschnitt, directly translated as cut-through."

It also looks like Saturn. I'm pretty sure that the few people who are in charge of running the world are telling our subconscious that this car will be able to run on fuel obtained from Saturn.

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

That's exactly what it is. It's a design element to say "Click right to get to the Eco information".

Hello, redundancy department of redundancy. How may we provide a disservice today? To say average mpg twice if that was the case. Where as the avoiding the fuel pump makes better sense to me than an incorrectly used empty set icon. Idk, the other idea is a better story imo.
