If you could go back in time, would you still have gotten your Focus?

an 80% chance of buying it again. but it would have been nice waiting another 3-4 months, get another few grand and buy a better focus SVT that maybe is turboized, and lower miles

Ask me again in 2-5 years... I only have 3000 miles on the car now if I was already regretting my purchase I would say that it was my own fault for not researching enough because anything evident at 3000 miles should be easily discovered by someone shopping for a new car! None of the reported problems I read about seemed concerning or widespread to me, and my car has none of them.

Yes, though in retrospect, I should have waited until the better incentives kicked-in and build bugs worked out. On the other hand, it was great having one of the only '12's around for a month or two. All in all, my car was a good value, but they are even better now.

Can't vote, but you could add me to the "yes" group. The driving experience and the exterior styling are what give me satisfaction owning the focus. I'm not sold on the interior styling, specifically the center stack radio design and placement of the climate control knobs behind the transmission. Plus my Focus has a few fit/finish issues - dash/a-pillar don't fit properly leaving a small hole, trim on front/rear passenger doors doesn't line up/looks uneven, trunk lid not centered leaving larger gap on pass. side than drivers side.

@TUXEDO. The doors and trunk/hatch can be realigned. Your dealership should be able to do that. As for the dash/a pillar, not too sure what can be done there. Would hate to have to replace the whole dash.

Yeah I am happy with the 2012 Focus I bought.
But ask me next year, when i may say i should have waited for the ST! Though I really either had to spend a bundle on my old car, or buy a new one... So I would have been blowing $2 grand on a car worth only two grand... I already did that two years ago blowing three grand on it, then again a year ago for another $2 grand.. (I just was tired of resurrecting my old heap Nice as it was to drive) LOL |

I wish had had ventured the MFT, given the upcoming thumbdrive mailing. And I coulda been tougher on pricing, but that's on me. Other than that, I am real pleased so far.
