Are all hatch trim pieces the same?

I recently broke the black trim piece above my rear license plate while trying to get it off to change a bulb.

Do you guys know if these are the same as non SVT hatches? Could I just go to a local junk yard and get one and slap it on my SVT? Or should I attempt to purchase new?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Any hatch trim from 2000-2007 will fit your SVT.

Physically they are the same. The difference is that the SVT's hatch trim is painted to match the body color. Standard ZX3's and ZX5's are either black bare plastic or Chrome.

The 2002 SVT's came with the black trim on the hatch, they didn't receive the "body color" treatment until the 2003 model year.
